ELLIPSE – Locating and Leveraging the Intrapreneurship Potential of small Enterprises
In the current structural funds period 2014-2020, the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt supports international cooperation projects under the programme “Sachsen-Anhalt transnational”. The programme is co-financed through the European Social Fund (ESF) and focuses on sustainable, high-quality employment and actions supporting the mobility of labour.
Funded under „Sachsen-Anhalt transnational“, tti Technologietransfer und Innovationsförderung Magdeburg GmbH receives funding for the projekt „ELLIPSE – Locating and Leveraging the Intrapreneurship Potential of small Enterprises“.
The term “intrapreneurship” refers to the entrepreneurial behaviour of employees as well as their capability to identify and actively shape opportunities for value creation within their individual work environment. The project aims at investigating the intrapreneurship potential of small enterprises in the Region of Saxony-Anhalt in order to develop strategies and tools for harnessing this potential and its significant economic benefits.
In order to achieve these goals, ELLIPSE is embedded in an interdisciplinary transnational cooperation framework coordinated by the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and joined by additional partners from the Netherlands and Finland. This approach allows for a more detailed investigation of different sectors, industries, company types and European regions. The cooperation with international project partners strengthens the international knowledge transfer and will continue to create synergies between the organisations involved.
Small and medium-sized companies in Saxony-Anhalt can directly benefit from participating in the project’s different phases. Active participation in the project will enable you to discover the unused potential of the employees in your business, will reveal possible solutions for utilising this potential and will strengthen your company’s long-term economic performance.
