Fluidized Bed High Temperature Granulation
The basic technology of fluidized bed technology comprises processes and the corresponding apparatus and system technology solutions which are used for the production or treatment of disperse, fluidizable products. Fluidized bed plants can be used for combustion, granulation, agglomeration, coating and drying. Compared to conventional technologies, fluidized bed technology produces more cost-effectively and with higher quality. This opens up opportunities for exploring new fields of application.
This network was created in order to identify strategic developments, to develop processes for high-temperature granulation, also known as chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and to create sustainable cooperation on the thematic aspects of production, application and the development of new application fields. Several small and medium-sized enterprises and two research partners have cooperated to address these problems. The "Fluidized Bed High Temperature Granulation" network was funded as a Network Management East (NEMO) project under the federal Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM).
